Hi,
 
I got suspend working using suspend 2 2.2.5 and gentoo-kernel-2.6.16-r7
+ mactel patches (=2.6.16.14 + gentoo patches + mactel-patches +
suspend2 2.2.5 patches).
 
* It works only if you unload the sky2 module before suspending.
* It works even with the fglrx driver and 3d hardware acceleration.
* It works with X.
* I had problems to reestablish the wlan connection without unloading
the ath_pci module before suspending.
* the button events don't work anymore (module "button" loads, detects
lid, power and sleep button) but the events do never occur.
* The rest works as expected.
* I use the hibernate script 1.12
* It wakes up after opening (or closing) the display or pressing the
power button.
* It takes about 5-10 seconds to hibernate and the same time to wakeup
(STR).
* Audio works only on line-out and nothing else! using 2.6.16.9 it at
least worked with the headphone-out.
