Dear William, Would you have time to make a picture for my talk this coming Friday? Just a picture of the curve y^3 - y - x = 0 for |x| < .6 (say) together with the affine x-line drawn under- neath. And dotted vertical tangent lines at the points where 3y^2 = 1, intersecting the x-line at \pm 2/sqrt(27). Slide size. I hope this is not too complicated. I'm in the rest of the day (apart from a late swim). Would be greatly appreciated, thanks!! All the best, Hendrik
