* Ross Richardson will speak in the graduate student research seminar
  on Wednesday about "The Sigma function of a graph".  This talk is partly
  about how to draw graphs and looks very interesting.   I will provide
  pizza and sodas.  7218 on Wed at 1pm. 

* Midterm: there will be a *short* take-home midterm given next monday
  and due wednesday; it will only be over elliptic curve (not modular
  forms).  You should spend about 2 hours on it.  

* My congruent number program that I handed out last week sucked.  Through
  it away and replace it by this new one.

* Explain solution to y^2 = x^3 + 1 problem.
